Respected scholars, as-salamu `alaykum. I wanted to know, if it is ok for girls to wear so much make-up that she obviously changes her face. Or is she not honoring the look Allah gifted her with? With deep respect and thanks in advance!

I would like to know whether shoes made out of pig skin leather are allowed in Islam? Is it permissible to touch such items? What are the general guidelines about the use of items made out of pig's hair and skin (shoes, balls, brushes, etc.)?

Is it permissible for men to wear clothes that are made of pure silk and partially from other non-silk materials (e.g., 50% silk and 50% other fibers) since some scholars have stated that it is allowed for men to wear garments containing four fingers’ width of silk, because of the Hadith reported by `Umar Ibn Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, who said that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, has forbidden the wearing of silk except for an area whose width is of two fingers, three or four.
