Renting a Shop From Someone Who Is Renting It
my brother took a shop on rent.to get it he had to pay some money to the the person who was alreading renting it. is such a payment halaal.ie money is given to a person who doesnot own that shop so that my brother can now use it.now after some time my brother is planning to vacate it. and he will give the shop to another person only if he gotsome money for it, even though he doesnot own it. is this halaal i see that such practices are widespread.some are saying that it is haraamthe owner doesnot care about these transactions as long as he gets the rent which he has stipulated.the contract isbetween the rentee and the owner.
