Why Do Muslims Pray Towards the Ka`bah?
As-salam-o-alaikum, My name is Asad, I'm a muslim from Pakistan.there are a few question that are bothering me for a long time...and i still havent got the answer yet... My question are :1)Why do we muslims pray namaz in the direction of Khana-e-kaba? Why do we consider it as a symbol of God's residence,though its just a building of stone and Hindus also worship a statue of stone,considering it a god.2)Where is written in the Quran that we have to pray (Namaz) five times a day? if your answer is with reference to hadith, then how can we beleive that a Hadith is true or not?3)What is the logic of repeating Ayats of quran,Names of Allah again and again?Please reply me in detail, because if you answer these questions, i'll be able to make a boy embrace islam, because he asked me these questions, and i was unable to answer him at that time, currently he is an Atheist.
