Sodomy Slander is equal to Zina Accusation?
Respected scholars, as-salamu `alaykum.I learned from the media that in Islam the punishment for slandering someone by calling him a sodomite isn't the same as that of accusing someone of having illegal sexual intercourse.Is this Islamically true? Or does slander in both cases require the same punishment?Jazakum Allahu khayran.
