Salam alaikom,What is the ruling concerning someone who often sleeps by day and stays awake at night, and prays all the prayers he missed during the day in the evening when he wakes up?  He cites the hadith that when someone forgets a prayer or misses a prayer due to sleep, all one needs to do is to make it up when he wakes up.  On the other hand, I have been told that it is a very serious thing to do "jama'a el salawat', or to postpone and combine prayers.  I have been told that it is a path to doing kaba'ir.  What is the correct Islamic view? If this truly is haram, I would like to know the ahadith to back that up when I advise my friend.  If it is not and I am misinformed, then I would also like to know.  I am deeply concerned that my friend may inadvertantly be doing something wrong. Assalam Alaikkum, Do we need to sleep before Thahajjud prayer? Some times I go to sleep very late in the weekends, so I offer thahajjud and witr before I go to sleep and gets up at the time of fajr since there is no time to sleep before doing night prayer. Is this allowed?

salam alaikum. my question is: do a man or woman to make wudu or have a wash after getting up? this means sometimes there comes water (gel) from the private part of am man or woman.what does islam say about this?thank you

As salamu `alaykum  I appreciate this elegant web site about my sweet religion. Can we offer Namaz-e-Tahjud without sleeping? Do we have to sleep, if we want to offer Tahud? If we couldn't sleep for night, the tahjud prayer is not possible. please tell in deep detail. Also Ghous Paak (saint in bagadad) and Khawaja Ajmari worshipped with esha wudu till fajar. Did they offer Tahjud? Thanks a lot.

As-Salamu `alaykum! I am a medical student and sometimes I go to bed after 2:00 a.m. Therefore, after I offer Fajr Prayer, I feel tired and go to sleep. Please tell me the ruling on sleeping after Fajr Prayer; is it haram (forbidden) or makruh (disliked)? Actually I don't like to sleep after Fajr, but I need to know the correct ruling if I face it. Also what about sleeping after `Asr Prayer? Jazaka Allah khayran.
