I married my husband six years ago. We dont have kids because I am unable to conceive a child. Doctors told me I am permanently infertile and medicines are useless. My husband is ok and he wants to have kid. About two months ago he married another woman. My husband is a very kind man.even after his second marriage his attitude towards me is good. My husband's second wife isalso a nice lady. She is very kind to me. We live in a very small house with one bedroom with attached toilet. The kitchen is located outside the house so nobody can sleep there because it is not safe to stay outside at night. Similarly nobody can sleep in toilet. All we have is the bedroom which the three of us share. My husband is a poor man , neither he can buy anew house nor he can afford the rent. we have arranged for a seperate bed. So now for onenight my husband sleeps with me on double bed while the other wife sleeps on the seperate bed and the other night she sleeps with husband while I sleep on the seperate bed. Me andthe other wife daily switch places. We dont have any problem with that because It is the only possible solution. We donot ask for seperate house because both of us know that our husband can not afford it. Our husband has promised us to provide seperate homes whenever he hasenough money. Now my question is that it is ok for my husband to have sex with one wife while other wife is watching ? I know that it is not ok to look at other woman's awrah ( fromnavel to the knees ) but if my husband covers himself and the wife with a sheet of cloth whilehaving sex ? I know that it is unlawful to disclose the marriage secrets to other but there is a difference between ordinary public and wives. I know what he does to other wifeand she knows what he does to me.  Under the circumstances this is the only possible solution for us. Can we both have sex with our husband simultaneously if we both wear such clothes which conceal our bodies from navel to knees but allows our husband to have sex with us? In this way we shall not be able to see each other's awrah.

As-Salamu `alaykum In about a month, I will be meeting a lady in person that I have met on an Islamic marital site  So my Question is, is it permissible for us to shake hands, hug, or for me to kiss her cheek or forehead when we meet?As-Salamu `alaykum

Dear Respected Sheiks & ScholarsAssalamu ai laikum, ORBALHUMDILLAH THANKS TO ALLAH, WE ARE HAPPY FAMILY FROM PAST 10 YEARS WITH 2 CHILDREN,  MY WIFE BEFORE OUR MARRAIGE HAD ANOTHER MARRAIGE PROPOSAL IN OFFING WHICH COULD NOT RESULT IN MARRAIGE AND THE BOY OF THIS PROPOSAL ON PRETEXT OF MEETING HER ALONE  FORCEFULLY PERFOMED ORAL SEX ON HER I.E  MY WIFE (BUT NO SEXUAL INTERCOURSE). MY WIFE WAS NOT KNOWING THE SERIOUNESS OF THIS SIN UNTILL SHE REALISED 2 YEARS BACK THROUGH SOME ARTICLES AND SINCE THEN SHE HAS BEEN FEELING VERY GUILTY & REPENTING FROM THE DAY SHE HAS REALISED, BY BEING NOT  ABLE TO COME OUT OF THIS MENTAL AGONY, SHE CONFESSED THIS SIN IN FRONT OF ME ONLY 3 WEEKS BACK. MY QUESTIONS ARE 1) IS THIS COMMITED SIN A ZINA OR NOT ? IF IT IS ZINA THEN WHAT IS THE PUNISHMENT & REPENTANCE ? 2) WILL THIS SIN EFFECT HER FAMILY & MY FAMILY AS HER PARENTS (MY-IN-LAWS) ARE SICK ?JAZAKULLAMOHAMED SHARIFF

Dear scholar, As-Salamu `alaykum. It is currently easy to know the sex of the fetus via amniocentesis (extracting a small amount of the amniotic fluid and analyzing the fetal cells in it). Many women use amniocentesis to know the sex of their baby, and some even abort their baby if it is not the sex they want. I know that Islam forbids abortion unless the mother’s life is at risk.A physician can also interfere to choose the sex of the child before conception based on recognition of the differences between male and female sperms. Would it be allowed in this case to choose the sex of one’s child? Jazaka Allahu khayran.

Some women go unmarried throughout life due to certain social factors against their will. Are these women allowed to have sex outside the wedlock in any way at any time of their life?

If they are allowed, when in the pregnancy does it need to stop? Does having sex during pregnancy harm the baby? Please answer, as my husband and I are quarrelling all the time about this topic.
