Salam Alaykum respected Scholars, I currently work as a security officer as a contractor with one of the biggest gaming and racing companies in the world, they run most of the betting and a few casinos, my question is, is it haram for me to work there even if i am just a security officer and i have nothing to do with gambling?, my job is to sit in an office and monitor cameras and alarms, and sometimes answering phones at the head office building.Jazakum Allah

As-salamu `alaykum. Now after the terrorist attacks on London and Egypt, many writers and the media attempt to give the impression that Islam seeks to spread terror and fear. I would like you to address the issue of security in Islam. How does Islam approach the concept of security, and what is its stance towards those who spread terror among people? A detailed answer will be appreciated.
