nails

As-salamu `alaykum. What is the ruling on clipping fingernails? How short must the fingernails be? Is the ruling the same for men and women? I heard that we should cut our fingernails in a certain order and that we should bury our fingernails. Is this true?

Respected scholars, as-salamu `alaykum.I know little about fiqh of women during their menstruation. However, I know that a woman is not supposed to pray, touch Qur’an and so forth while menstruating. My question is: are women allowed to clip their nails, cut their hair, or take shower during the days of menstruation?Could you please shed some light on this issue?Jazakum Allah khayran.

Dear Scholar, As-salamu `alaykum.I would like to know about the size of the nails. Like many women keeps long nails, and they put some polish on them. Its like half a centimeter above their actual flesh of fingures.I would like to know whether it is permissible in ISLAM to have nails long like that.Secondly I would like to know whether a girl/women can wear sleeveless cloths at home, and whether she can wear it even outside when at work.thank you for your answer.

salamualaikum respected scholers; i have a question regarding long nails. i have a problem. i am aware that its not allowed in islam to have long nails. but i have the case where i bite my nails. if i leave them long i wont bite them as it looks beautiful. that way i dont bite them also if there is other alternatives you could give me as i think its so unhygienic and i feel its digusting.

Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. My family believe that it is Islamically wrong to brush one’s hair or clip one’s nails at nighttime. Is this true, or is it a cultural construction? Jazakum Allah khayran.
