Menstrual circle

As-Salamu `alaykum! Could you please advise me as to when a woman should stop her prayers due to menstrual bleeding? I am confused as to whether I should stop as soon as I see any trace of blood or whether I should continue until I bleed fully. Also, should I stop praying for 7 full days or until I am satisfied that I am clean of bleeding?

As-Salamu `alaykum. It is well known that a woman may have two types of vaginal bleeding (other than the bleeding after childbirth)—istihadah (chronic blood discharge), and menstrual blood. How can a woman differentiate between them?
