Using Manure to Fertilize Soil
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum! Farmers use animal dung to fertilize the land without paying attention to whether such dung belongs to animals whose meat is lawful to eat or not. They may even use human excrement for fertilizer. This makes me wonder to what extent this is lawful. Does this cause the plants and fruits and vegetables growing in that soil to be impure from having absorbed such impurities? Jazakum Allah khayran.
