Respected scholars, as-salamu `alaykum.as a male i was wondering if it is halaal to get your chest and back waxed? If not can you specify reasons and is there alternatives for example just trimming the chest and back hair short? Jazakum Allahu khayran.< br />

Assalamu Alaikum We know as a rule that women stand behind men in prayer. My question is: If a woman is praying her nafl prayer in the front part of a room, and while she is praying, her mahram (husband, father, etc) also enters the room to pray fard or nafl, is it allowed for him to stand to do his prayer behind her? I do not mean having her as imam of course, I mean the fact that he stands behind her. What if the man is non-mahram? Should she stop praying and walk out regardless of whether she is praying fard or nafl,  as in Islam it is haram for a man and woman to not be alone in a room?  What should she do?  Jazak Allah

Can a man and a woman (the two of them only)form the congregation for an obligatory solat?

Is it permissible for a Muslim woman to shake hands with males at an interview or workplace. This is due to the Western culture of "eye contact and hand shaking."

Dear scholars, As-Salaam `Alaykum. I have gotten into a discussion with an old English teacher of mine concerning the Christian concept of Original Sin. She being a "New Testament Christian", does not agree with the traditional belief of how Original Sin works, but still believes that humans have a sinful nature. To prove that, she mentions that if left up to our own choice, we normally will choose that which is pleasing physically or personally even if it means disobeying God’s command. In other cases, people like to relate how even babies will do "wrong" when they know they are doing something bad. How should I, being a Muslim, respond to this notion? Jazakum Allah khayran.

Dear scholars! Salam! I have been approached by a non-Muslim that the components of the human body do not contain any composition to prove that man is made from earth or clay. I am sure we are. If it is written in the Qur'an then there is no question, but I just did not have the scientific background to answer this. Can you please help me on this?
