Is Processing Documents for Impermissible Business Halal?
Respected scholars, as-salamu `alaykum. Companies doing business in California must file the documents mentioned below with the state government and my company acts as an agent of service with the secretary of state for companies that want to register. My responsibility is to send this document to the state for registration. Sometimes I notice that these companies conduct impermissible types of business, such as banking, providing insurance, mortgages, music companies, and so on. Would my compensation be considered a mixed income because some of these companies conduct impermissible types of business? Incorporation/Formation - Name services - Annual reports - Qualification/registration - Amendment - Dissolution/withdrawal/ cancellation - Merger/consolidation - UCC Form filing - Service of Process (to process all types of lawsuits for the court and law firm, and forward to appropriate recipients)the company provides more services, but they cannot all be listed here, so I have included the company's website for you to look at: Please tell me what I should do in my situation.
