Dear scholars, as-salamu `alaykum. Is there any du`aa' (supplication) to find a good husband? Jazakum Allah khayran.

As-Salamu `alaykum. Can one go to Al-Haram (the Sacred mosque in Makkah) to pray for one's needs, e.g., to pray to be cured from a sickness, to pray to have children, etc. Furthermore, can one fast for some days for the purpose of requesting for one's needs from Allah for the reasons stated above?

I will keep you company until the Day of Judgment.”My question is, how do we hasten to do good deeds and what are good deeds? Jazakum Allahu khayran.

As-Salamu `alaykum. Dear Scholar, I am having my high school prom within a few weeks and I have asked my teacher here whether it is allowed in Islam to go to it. A prom is a social event in which people dress up in ball dresses and suits. They go for dinner and talk, and some can dance if they want but it is not compulsory. I asked my Islamic teacher whether parties and discos were allowed. His answer was no, but he didn’t quite answer and understand the question on a prom. Is a prom allowed in Islam?
