Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. While offering a funeral prayer behind an Imam, he finished the prayer by saying ‘as-Salamu 'alaykum’ after the third takbirah (i.e., saying ‘Allah Akbar’), and when he realized the mistake, he uttered the fourth and then said ‘as-Salamu 'alaykum’ again without offering a prostration for forgetfulness. Is this prayer correct and valid? Jazakum Allah khayran.

During salaatul janaza, after the third takbir, a dua is said for the deceased person. I am not an Arab, and do not know the arabic language. Is it possible to do my own dua in the Engliah language in the janaza prayer?
