when to recite al-Fatihah and other surah in prayers
Assalaamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu, My question is regarding prayer in congregation(Jamaat).In Zuhr and Asr, the imam doesn't recite loudly, should we recite quran like surah fatiha and another surah in the first and second rakaat and only surah fatiha in third and fourth rakaat. sometimes when i recite a little long surah and when i am in the middle of the surah , the imam goes into ruku and i couldn' complete the surah.In a website i have seen that we should recite only surah fatiha and the remain silent.Please help so that i could perform the prayers in the right way.
