As-Salam `Alaykum. A friend who does not believe in Allah but reads the Qur'an,hunting for mistakes asked me a question. He said:"The Qur'an says that the earth is created in 6 days. But why in 6 days? If Allah is powerful to create it in one day or in a second (surely Allah is All-Powerful) why 6 days? " I tried to explain but my answer was not sufficient. What is your opinion and comment on this subject?

Dear Sir, AOAMy question is with regard to the origin of man. To the best of my knowledge, I know that Allah Almighty created Adam as the first human and from there spouted our race.Recently on TV a well known Islamic scholar stated that this is the christian belief. He stated that Adam was not the first human and agreed with the concept of Evolution, and stated this does not contradict the Quran as in the Quran it doesn’t say Allah created Adam as the first human , but rather, states that Allah picked Adam.Please let me know if this is right as I have never heard this before or after and I am confused as the scholar who stated this is one of the leading scholars in our contry.Thank you

salam alaikum. when ever i read the Koran, i think about an "aye".this aye is in sura -Sad- vers 75 till end-.the evil said that he will take so much people to hell as he can. did the evil know that Allah will send Adam to the earth? or did the evil said this after knowing that Allah will send Adam to the earth? can you please explain this.thank you
