difference

The difference between nabi andrasool

Aslam-o-Alaikumthere are few questions that i want to ask. 1) What is the difference between Nabi and Rasool?2) If there is any difference then who was the first Nabi and First rasool. As i have read some where that Hazrat Nuah (AS) is the first Nabi.And i read a hadith in a book named "Minhaj-ul- muslim" which is that hazrat Abu-Zar(Radhiallahu Anhu) asked holy prophet(PBUH) total number of Prophet and Prophet (PBUH) replied " there are 120000 nabi and out of them 313 are rasool" Please clarify me if this hadith is authenticated as i have read that there were 124000 nabi.Thanks
