Anger: Its Danger and Remedy
Dear scholars, As-Salaam `Alaykum. A brother that I know, who is a good person, prays 5 times a day and has a well-versed Muslim community around him, uses foul language when he is angry. The foul language he uses in swearing is like calling his wife a “cow” and other bad names (Astaghfirullah). I understand that sometimes a situation can get out of hand, and an individual does not know what to say or to do. However, what is the Islamic ruling regarding this kind of action? Jazakum Allah khayran.
