10 Days of DHul Hijja

What are the rituals that should be performed by pilgrims on the day of sacrifice (yawm an-nahr)?

Assalam Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barkthu, When I performed Hajj Tamattu my parents performed sai that is done on 10/11/12 Dhul Hijjah on the night of 7 Dhul Hijjah before we had to depart for Mina. So on 10 Dhul Hijjah they came to Makkah & peformed Tawaaf Al Ziyarah before going back to Mina.  Please can you advise if it is permitted to perform sai before 10 Dhul Hijjah

Please let us know the benefits of Dhul-Hijjah. I heard the first ten days are special, but I’m not sure how and what I should do.

There is nothing wrong if the person who has been appointed to slaughter a sacrificial animal cut his hair during the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah. Sheikh M. S. Al-Munajjid, a prominent Saudi Muslim lecturer and author, states: it is permissible for the one appointed because the prohibition on cutting the hair and nails only

. Kindly enlighten us on things that should be avoided as well as good acts that are recommended for Muslims during the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.

When should Muslims start takbir on the days of Dhul-Hijjah, and what is the exact wording transmitted from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in this regard?

It is heared that the best nights of the year are the last 10 days of Ramadan and the best days of the year are the first 10 days of Dulhijja. I also heared a hadith saying that good deeds in the first days of Dulhijja are best - afdal - The prophet was asked - even martyrdom oh Prohphet? -, the questioner was told that yes, even greater than jihad except one who went with his wealth and body and neither of it returned...(above are not the actual wording of the hadith). Could you kindly elaborate on it? considering the appropriateness of the subject (as we are about to enter the month of Dulhijj) your quick answer is expected. I mean, if there is such greatness for these days, what are the recommended acts especially for those who are not performing Hajj. wassalamu alaikum.

Dear scholars, as-salamu `alaykum. If a person cuts his hair after the month of Dhul Hijjah has begun, and he intends to offer a sacrifice, is his sacrifice valid and will it be accepted?
