Sheikh Mohamed El-Moctar El-Shinqiti, Director of the Islamic Center of South Plains, Lubbock, Texas , states: “I don’t see any reason to prevent from selling any halal product to any of these places. I don’t really understand why some Muslims want to make themselves responsible of other people’s actions, or to think only in white-and-black terms. We are not responsible for the sins committed by other people, and the fact that we are providing for them a halal alternative is the best way to fight their sins.”
