Dr. Monzer Kahf, a prominent economist and counselor states the following: “It is not permissible to sell adult DVDs or their alike. This is a help to spread what is wrong and unethical, moreover the Qur’an specifically condemns those who like the shame to spread, even if it is profitable or part of a business one takes or buy. All in all, a Muslim must literally remove such sales out of her/his business.”
