Dr. Muzammil H. Siddiqi, former President of the Islamic Society of North America, states the following:
“Muslims are not allowed to rent out their properties to liquor stores. Islam wants Muslims not to drink alcohol and also to avoid any business dealing with it in any way possible. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Allah has cursed the khamr ( as well as all alcoholic drinks), and has cursed the one who drinks it, the one who serves it, the one who produces it, the one for whom it is produced, the one who sells it, the one who buys it, the one who carries it, the one for whom it is carried and the one who earns from its sale.” (See Musnad Ahmad, Hadith no. 5458).
Guided what is mentioned above, we can say that renting a property to a liquor store would come under the category of a person who earns from its sale. It is clearly haram.
