Sheikh `Abdul-Majeed Subh, a prominent Azharite scholar, states: “Generally speaking, the husband and wife are allowed to enjoy each other in the way they like as soon as they avoid anal sex or having intercourse when the wife is menstruating or in her post-partum bleeding. However, Islam has put certain ethics for this special relationship. For example, there should be some sort of foreplay before intercourse. As for the issue of licking and sucking, such things are imported to some Muslims especially those who are living in the West.
However, as for the permissibility or impermissibility of that, it is not considered haram (unlawful).”
