Zainab Al-`Alawani, Instructor of Fiqh and Islamic Studies, Graduate School of Islamic and Social Sciences, states the following: “As a nursing parent that’s migrating to non-muslim countries, If you have children, then you need to plan how to raise them Islamically and protect their identity and Islamic values. You need to plan for all these things before you move to any country. So if you plan to move in Canada for example, then you need to ask about the Muslim community, the Masjid and the Islamic school where you can enrol your children in. Try to surround them all the time with good company and friends. If you do this, then there should be no problem, in sha’ Allah.”
