The eminent Muslim scholar and renowned Da`iyah, Sheikh `AbdelKhaliqHasan Ash-Shareef, states: “In Islam, man is responsible for maintaining his wife and kids financially and also to suffice his wife sexually in order to help her maintain her chastity. For sure this is besides the other normal duties of taking care of his wife/family affairs. If he faces a physical problem regarding the intimate relationship, he should be clear with his wife and do his best to overcome the problem by seeking the help of a specialist doctor.
