The eminent Muslim scholar and renowned Da`iyah, Sheikh `Abdel Khaliq Hasan Ash-Shareef, states: “This is one of the entrapments of Satan that one should stay away from and ask Allah Almighty to protect against such footsteps and whispers. We should realize that man does not know where his benefit is. Allah is the One Who destines for His servants their rizq according to His Will.
We should also know that answering one’s du`aa’ comes in one of three ways which are either Almighty Allah achieves one’s du`aa’ in this worldly life or prevents an affliction or a calamity that was about to afflict him or compensate him with something good that He saves for Him in the Hereafter.
