Responding to this issue, Dr. Monzer Kahf, a scholar in Islamic Economics and a Financial Expert , asserts that it is allowed for a Muslim who is financially capable of performing Hajj in a subsequent year to defer the hajj in a present year for an important course to his carrier when it coincides with hajj period.
