The eminent Muslim scholar and renowned Da`iyah, Sheikh `Abdel Khaliq Hasan Ash-Shareef, states: “First of all, we’d like to state that the word converting is not the most proper word here. One ought to start to act upon the way of Ahl Asunnah and not convert and therefore, what they need to know are the matters of belief and differences between the madhhab of Ahl As-sunnah and the previous madhhab and to act upon the methodology and belief of Ahl As-Sunnah. May Allah guide us all to the right path.”
