Responding to this issue, Dr. `Abd Al-Fattah Idrees, a Professor of Islamic jurisprudence said,
Hijab is an obligation on Muslim women that they must abide by and submissively fulfill. So, working in a place that requires contravening this obligation is prohibited. A Muslim woman in Islam is primarily maintained by either a husband or a father or the like. Even if she cannot find anybody to spend on her it is the duty of the Muslim state to save her and maintain her needs.
So, if you are obliged to work because you cannot find any person to support you and your daughter, whose financial support is basically on her father, then you have to look for a job that does not require violating your obligations.
