Asking Allah to become taller

Dr. Rif`at Fawzi, former professor of Shari`ah at Cairo Univ., states: “It is not haram to ask Allah to become taller. However, there is no specific du`a’ to be said in this regard. Also, one should not pay attention to such a thing or make it a big issue because it is Almighty Allah’s wisdom to create the tall and the short, the white and the black, the rich and the poor, etc.

Also, we’d like to point out that one may excel other people who are taller than by being more pious to Allah, being active in work and field of study.

Finally, we ask Allah Almighty to grant us happiness and success in this worldly life and in the Hereafter.”
