Sheikh `Abdul-Majeed Subh, a prominent Azharite scholar, states: “Almighty Allah mentions many times in the Glorious Qur’an that He is with the benevolent and those who keep patience. However, this does not necessitate that they are infallible; because infallibility means that one must always preserve and maintain the acts and morals that cause Allah’s company and closeness. This is not available for anyone except Allah’s prophets and messengers whom He has chosen for delivering the message.”
