In fact, the essence of all the prophets’ messages is what Islam calls for: worshiping Almighty Allah alone and rejecting false deities.
SheikhHussain Halawa, the secretary general of the European Council for Fatwa and Research (ECFR) and imam of the Islamic Cultural Center of Ireland (ICCI) states the following: “Islam means to submit your will to the will of Allah. It is Allah that deserves being worshipped. This is the message given by all prophets to their people: “Worship Allah you have no other god.” Hence, all the Prophets share the meaning of Islam.
nevertheless, Allah has set for every people a book: “Every one of you did We appoint a law and a way.” (Al-Ma’idah 5: 48) On this basis, people were given different names e.g. Jews and Christians, yet the reasoning of giving them these names is a matter of disagreement. Then, Allah sealed his messages and his Prophets by sending Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. Allah revealed to him His final Book, namely the Qur’an. Whoever dies ascribing no partners unto Allah believing in all prophets including the final prophet i.e. prophet Muhammad, he will be admitted into paradise.”
