Naturally, there’s a difference between the anus and the vulva. The anus is not the right channel for sexual intercourse, therefore, anal intercourse is not permissible. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) says: “Whoever meets his woman through the anus has disbelieved in what was sent to Muhammad (peace be upon him). A man may fondle his wife, but it is not permissible for him to insert his finger into her anus (rectum). This is like lesbianism, which is not permissible in Shariah.
