Regarding this issue, we would like to quote Sheikh Hatem Mohammad Al-Haj Aly, who stated:
“The woman may dress in front of her mahrams in what is usually worn at home, so uncovering parts of the arms, legs and chest would be allowable. It is also allowable to uncover the hair.
The tight clothes are not enough cover, so the clothes should not be too tight to describe the form and shape of the body.
The mahrams are not all the same, so the woman who fears God should be careful in front of a young uncle or the likes. She may have more flexibility with a father or a son. All of this is true provided there is no fear of temptation, but once there is such fear, then she should not uncover even in front of her mahrams no matter how close to her they are.
