Dr. MarawanShahin, Professor of Hadith and its Sciences, Faculty of Usul Ad-Din (Theology), Al-Azhar Univ. states: “There is nothing in the sources of Shari`ah to indicate that one’s Ruh comes to the house 40 days after his death. There is nothing in the authentic sources of Shari`ah to this effect.
