Zakah on Residential Plots
Dear respected sheikhs, as-salamu`alaykum.According to the Hanafi school of jurisprudence, do I have to pay Zakah on the residential plots that I buy out of my savings as an investment? If yes, would it be on the historic value or market value of the land? If it is the market value, how does one count the periods where there is slump? Jazakum Allahkhayran
