As-Salamu `Alaykum. Could you please furnish me with a Fatwa regarding wiping the neck in ablution. Is it part of the obligatory parts of the ablution or is it a Bid`ah or innovation?
As-Salamu `alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. Is it permissible to use a towel after making wudu’? I am asking about this because I have read a hadith stating that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not use it. Could you please shed more light on this issue?
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. If some one has a medical problem which necessitates the use of a medicated bandage that has to be left on the foot for approximately a week without removal, is it be permissible to make wudu’ (ablution) over the bandage? What if it's not a serious condition but could become worse if left untreated? Jazakum Allah khayran.
As-Salamu `alaykum. Very often when I stand up to pray, I have doubts in my mind as to whether my purification or wudu' has been nullified or not. What should I do in such a situation: Should I leave the salah and purify myself and then resume my salah, or should I simply continue my salah and not bother about such doubts?
Scholars of Islam, As-Salamu `Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh. I’d like to know the effect of talk on the Wudu’. Jazakm Allah Khyran.
As-Salamu `alaykum. I have two short questions: 1. Can I read Qur’an while in bed before sleeping? I sometimes stay in bed a long time before falling asleep. 2. I have a problem that may not be common. I usually have return of food without vomiting. It has nothing to do with the latter. It is almost like the food not gone far in my stomach. Usually it is liquid for example after drinking water. I wonder if it is breaking my wudu’ (ablution). What should I do when I am in salah (ritual Prayer) or doing wudu'?
Dear scholars, As-salamu `alaykum. If I perform wudu' (ablution) and then apply coverup (concealer) on my skin for vitiligo (loss of pigmentation), can I pray for a period of time until I break my wudu'? Jazakum Allah khayran.
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. If you have wudu’ (ablution) and go swimming in a public swimming pool, does going into that pool break your wudu’? Jazakum Allah khayran.
As-Salamu `alaykum. I forgot that I did not have wudu’ (ablution) and prayed. After I finished my Prayer, I remembered that. Do I have to repeat my Prayer?
I have a quick question. I have been told that one must perform wudu’ (ablution) after taking a shower or bath. If so, then why is this necessary?
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. If you are making wudu’ (ablution) in a sink with a toilet right next to it (as in most homes today), does that change what dhikr (mention of Allah) you can make? Would it restrict you from making the Sunnah of du`a’ (supplication) in that place? Jazakum Allah khayran.
Dear scholar(s),as-salam-alaikumWhat importance does Islam hold for cleaniness and Hygiene of human body? In India, i see a number of Muslims who do not take bath on daily basis and wear same clothes for days. Its only the day of Friday, when they take bath and wear clean clothes. this has created a negative impact on Non-Muslims here who tend to think that Islam does not teach to be clean and hygeiene. My second question is what is the logic behind each action undertaken "wudu"?please answer my questions. Jazakum Allah khayran
