Should Women Wear Socks When Praying
As-Salamu `alaykum! Al-Hamdulillah, I have been Muslim all my life. Both my parents embraced Islam at a very early age. I recently moved to a new community where my Muslim sisters in Islam have told me that I must wear socks for my prayer to be accepted. Because I am not sure of the legitimacy of this saying, I am now wearing socks while I pray until I can determine an authentic ruling. Please give your advice. May Allah reward you!
