Assalamualaikum dear well respected scholar of Islam.My questions are about divorce.Are witnesses required for the divorce procedures of a couple?Do both parties have to agree with each other to seprarate before the verdict is passed to divorce in a shariah court?Do men in Islam have the final say in divorce, in both cases oftalaq and khula? If not, who has the final say?What happens if one party in a married couple asks for divorce with a legitimate reason under Islam, but the other party refuses to acknowledge the case and does not agree to divorce?

Asalam 'aalaikum, I wanted to ask you that if a girl and a boy can be married if the guy asks her thrice if she wanted to marry her and he agreed and gave up all her rights with her own consent with out any witnesses.

Respected scholars, as-salamu `alaykum. I got married in a non-Muslim country in the embassy of the country where my wife is from. I did this so she would have a wali (guardian), but the witnesses were not Muslim. Is my marriage permissible despite that? Jazakum Allahu Khayran.

Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. When it says to bring four witnesses against a woman who has committed indecency, is it for the woman who has been raped or this is for a married woman whose husband is in doubt about her indecency? Please explain in detail.

The Qur'an says 2 witnesses are required for divorcing women, but is this a shart (condition) or not?
