warts

Asalamu'Alaikum. I would like to aks a question about something people in Pakistan do. If you have a wart, they will say to someone called baba Kikrii, who used to read dua'as on peoples warts to make them go away, " baba Kikrii, please make this wart go away", if the wart goes away, you put salt and a brush on his grave...i don't think this is right..could you please give me an Islamic view on this? It may have been said that his dua'as to Allah were listened to more, i think he was a kind of saint. (I'm unsure of proper details, my mother's story is a bit vague)
