Not Wearing Hijab to Apply for Immigration
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. I wear hijab. In the following situation, which I will describe below, I would like to know whether or not I am permitted to remove it.I would like to apply for immigration to Canada together with my family because we want to educate our children properly. We have been told that if we apply with me wearing hijab, the chances of being able to migrate are almost 0%. So is it permissible for me to submit my photo without hijab and attend one interview without wearing it. Also when I arrive at the Canadian airport I will not be wearing it. Is this allowed, taking into consideration my good intention?In Albania, both education and life generally is terrible. Therefore, I feel I must do something for myself and my children.
