Did our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) had `Ilm Al-Ghayb or knowledge of the Unseen?
Some people sometimes judge a certain person to be among the dwellers of Paradise and another to be a dweller of Hell. They may say, “This person will be admitted to Paradise,” or “This one will never be admitted to Paradise; he will surely be thrown into Hell!” Could that be true, or is it only Allah Who is aware of that? May Allah reward you.
Dear scholars of Islam, As-Salamu `Alaykum wa Rahamtu Allah wa Baraktuh. I’d like to know whether dead people hear what the living says or not? This question perplexes my mind. Thanks a lot for your clarification.
Respected scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. If Allah never reveals to someone the time of his death, how could you explain what I have read about a Companion of the Prophet who saw in a dream that a woman of Paradise told him that he would join her after three days, and he died after three days? Jazakum Allah khayran.
Assalam-0 Alaikum Brother, if a person has said to his wife these words, i divorse you, i divorse you and the he stoped. and appologised for his action and reconsiled and promised not to say these words again. Dear scholars, as-Salamu `alaykum. The Qur’an tells us that only God knows whether the child will be a male or female. But now with the latest techniques (ultra-sound, x-rays and other modern technologies), doctors can discern whether the fetus is male or female? How can we explain the authenticity of the Qur’an following this scientific achievement? Jazakum Allah khayran.
Dear Sheikh! Some people think that when someone is murdered, a ghost appears in the scene of the crime mimicking the gestures and the voice of the deceased. Does such a belief have any Islamic basis?
Dear scholars, as-salamu `alaykum. I have some queries I hope you can answer. In the Qur'an, (2: 284), Almighty Allah says: (Whether ye make known what is in your minds or hide it, Allah will bring you to account for it.< span>)On the other hand, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah has forgiven my followers the evil thoughts that occur to their minds, as long as such thoughts are not put into action or uttered." This was reported in the Al-Bukhari and Muslim.hence, I'd like to know how can we address the contradiction between the verse and the hadith. Was that verse abrogated? Finally, under what circumstances are we accounted for our thoughts? Jazakum Allah khayran
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. Could you please shed light on spiritual health in Islam. Also, what are the major diseases that affect the heart and what are the cures if one is affected with these ailments? Jaza kum Allah khayran.
If you have some spare time, then it would be much appreciated if you could consider my question. My question was that what view does Islam have on Hypnosis? Muslims do not believe in reincarnation. However, there have been many cases where people have been hypnotised and have described their previous life. Thanks.
Assalaamu-alaikum, i am experiencing problems when praying. For example, when i say Allahu-Akbar i hear the names of other people. By sujud too. I hear these voices making dua´s for these people too. These names i hear when eating, drinking, to make it short nearly all the time. I don´t know what to do with my prayers. I make dkhirs but the situation is still the same. Maybe someone else experienced the same. Thanks in advance,Tijan.
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. It is reported that during the journey of Al-Israa’ and Al-Mi`raj, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw some people being punished. I would like to know how he could have seen them when the Day of Judgment has not come yet. Jazakum Allah khayran.
As-Salamu `alaykum. I have a question concerning the concept of a past life or reincarnation as they call it. I believe in the afterlife as Islam states, but what about those people who have some “recollections” of past lives? How is that explained or why do they have those feelings?
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. Do angels record the intentions of human beings whether they are good or evil? How do they know what human beings are thinking about while we know that only Allah knows the Unseen? Jazakum Allah khayran.
As-Salamu `alaykum. Some Muslims tend to place green branches on a grave after the burial. Is this permissible? Jazakum Allah khayran.
As-salamu `alaykum. My question: Is there any authentic hadith about the punishment in the grave? There are many Muslims who do not believe in the torment of the grave. Is this wrong? Please could you clarify this matter to me? Jazakum Allah khayran.
