Complaining at Times of Trial
Dear scholars, As-Salamu `alaykum. I had posted a question before that me having psychotic depression was a test from Allah or a punishment. I got to know that it can be both. I?d just like to know that if it?s test from Allah then how long will it last. Also, as I did not know that this was a test I moaned a bit about being in this state (being a teenager) and constantly asked my parents as to when I?m going to get ok and why is Allah doing this with me. I also told my friends that I am not talking to them properly because I'm going through this problem and asked them to pray for me. Does this mean that I will not get the reward in the hereafter because of this complaining, will get less reward or have failed the test? However, now, by God?s grace I?m keeping patient as the psychiatrist said that it may take 1 year to get OK.
