Dear Scholars:as-salamu ?alaykum. Beetle nut chewing, sometimes mixed with tobacco, is common among Muslims in the Philippines as local culture. Is it allowed in Islam? Jazakum Allah Khairan.
Is working in a tobacco company Halal (permissible)? I am out of work and it is a very good company and the package is very good. I have been searching for a marketing position for a long time but couldn't find any. Working in this company will give me very good experience in marketing and it will help my career a lot. Please advise. Thank you!
