Can I Compensate for Missed Tahajjud?
Respected scholars, as-salamu `alaykum. If someone has the habit of praying Tahajjud Prayer, and yet, sometimes he wakes up after the Fajr time has started but Prayer in the mosque has not started, can he pray 2 or 4 rak`ahs after the Fajr time has started as nawafil before joining the congregation in the mosque? Or should he wait for the sunrise and then pray these nawafil with ishraq? Jazakum Allahu khayran.
