steps

Assalamualikummy question is related to nikah, i am a pakistani and like in our culture, we have nikah, then rukhsati and then walima, so i have just had my nikah, the ruksati will be next year along with the walima, currently im not staying with my husband im living with my parents. So because of our culture, our parents have imposed restrictions on us, we cant go out, we cant sit together, we cant spend time alone...so my question is that, to what degree are they right? do restrictions have any meaning on us now as we have done the nikah? or are we free to do whatever we like? and other than that, if we do not follow their restrictions they will be issues around the society...so basically what i want to ask is that, although we are husband and wife, do we have to follow our parents will? will not following it cause sin on us?thank you
