Ruling of the One Who Can’t Pray While Standing
As-Salamu `Alaykum. I am pregnant and I find it hard to pray Fajr standing these days. I do mostly wake up, perform ablution, and then I find it difficult to perform prayer while standing. I can’t stand, kneel down and pray. So, I lie in bed and I perform prayer (but not in a standing position). Will I be punished for this? Can one perform prayer while sitting, if one is not able to stand. Jazakum Allahu Khayran.
