Salam,there are multiple hadiths that forbid singing the adhan. Thereis one hadith that encourages on to recite the adhan in a beautiful voice. The Adhan in Makkah sounds to me like singing. I asked two Azhar Sheykhs and they both said that the adhan in Makkahis makrooh because it is like singing. I asked Sheikh Ahmed Kutty on this website and he said that the Adhan in Makkah was ok because it is justusing a beautiful voice. Pleaseclarify the issue for me. It seems to me that the Makkah adhan is makrooh, based on the hadiths

Dear respected Sheikh, As-Salamu `alaykum wa rahamtu Allah wa barakatuh ! Is is permissible for a wife to sing or dance for her husband only without the use of any musical intruments. And can you please clarify what is the ruling using daf (tambourine) between the two spouses. Jazak Allah Khayr
