Asalaamualaikum,I have a 10-year old brother with cerebral palsy and a 2-year old sister who is developmentally delayed.We have been making dua for them and I have been asking for help on Laylatul Qadr nights.  The doctors aren’t really sure what it is and how to treat it either. And these are some of the best doctors of the countryAre there any duas for them? Hadiths? Why us? What is the wisdom?Salaam

Dear respected sheikhs, as-salamu `alaykum. While being treated medically I find it difficult to offer the Prayer as in normal cases. How should I offer the Prayer while I’m sick? Jazakum Allah khayran.

Does reciting Surat Al-Muzzamil at Fajr help with sickness? If so, what is the proof? Are there any du`a' (supplications) that we can recite if children are sick? Does reciting Surat Al-Inshiqaq and then blowing on a child help with asthma?

Dear scholars, As-salamu `alaykum. I have always seen my family (especially mother/wife/sister) reciting some Qur’anic verses or some prayers and then blowing on themselves or someone around them (for blessing, protection, and so on). Is this a valid Islamic practice or is it just something that has been followed generation after generation? Jazaku Allahu khayran.

Do the agonies of death reduce a person’s sins? Does sickness reduce a person’s sins?
