Normal Shower, Does It Replace Ritual Bathing?

Salam Mu alkam brother, I just have one quick question regarding Ghusol or ritual bathing. I tend to have a normal shower everyday and then do wadoo and then pray. Is there anything wrong with this method, I know alot of people follow the sunnah bathing, but can one just have a normal shower and then do wadoo and then pray?

As-Salam `alaykum! What is the Islamic ruling concerning a "Baby Shower"? Can we do it just as a mere custom? If it is not allowed, can we make any kind of gather ing for a pregnant woman? I’d appreciate your answer.
